At Damien Fertility Partners, we help all couples and single women to begin and complete their families. Those couples in a female same-sex relationship are a focus of our practice. We offer all options for these couples and single women who wish to become single parents. We help to make the process comfortable and review the use of donor sperm with FDA-approved specimens. We facilitate the process as much as possible and offer treatments ranging from natural cycle inseminations, oral or injectable fertility medicines, or In Vitro Fertilization. The proper treatments and strategies for rapid success are discussed and planned with the patient. We always listen to the unique needs and desires presented to us by the patient. We will spend the time to educate where necessary and enhance the completion of every step of the process to achieve success. We do collaborate with most national sperm banks and always ensure that the specimens are the safest and best option for our patients.

Our providers are very experienced with treatments available for same-sex couples. We would love the opportunity to help support you through your fertility journey and educate you about different options. Some treatments we offer include:

Natural cycle inseminations with donor sperm
Oral ovulation induction paired with donor sperm insemination
Injectable fertility medications paired with donor sperm insemination
Reciprocal IVF, which utilizes the eggs of one female partner and allows the other female partner to carry the pregnancy

An alternative for same-sex female couples is reciprocal IVF. With this treatment, one female partner will produce the eggs fertilized with donor sperm. The other female partner will then receive the embryo in transfer and conceive. Each individual in the relationship participates intimately in the baby’s biological development. Reciprocal IVF does become more expensive than inseminations; however, it allows both partners to be intimately involved in the child creation process.
